Second placer Kaya-Iloilo looks to draw level on points with Ceres-Negros when it takes a rejuvenated Mendiola FC 1991 side Saturday in the Philippines Football League at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.

The reigning Copa Paulino Alcantara champions eye their seventh victory of the season in the 3:30 p.m. match against a Mendiola side which upset fourth-running Green Archers United, 5-2, last Wednesday.

Kaya will see action for the first time since edging Stallion-Laguna, 1-0, last July 13 in Binan courtesy of Darryl Roberts in the 31st minute.

Saturday’s other match pits struggling teams Global-Makati and Air Force at the Binan Football Stadium in Laguna. Kickoff is also at 3:30 p.m.

Global is in sixth place with three points, winning its only match at the expense of the Armed Forces side with a 3-1 triumph last June 20.

Stallion aims to solidify its hold on third spot when it hosts Green Archers United on Sunday in Binan.

The Horsemen are three above United with 17 points in nine matches.
