Games Monday (JCSGO Gym, Cubao)
1 p.m. – AMA vs Batangas-EAC
3 p.m. – Go for Gold vs Che’Lu

Che’Lu Bar & Grill looks to create a three-way tie for second in the Aspirants Group when it tackles Go for Gold-St. Benilde in the PBA D-League at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao.

The Revellers seek to join idle teams Ironcon-University of Santo Tomas and St. Clare-Virtual Reality at 4-1 in the 3 p.m. match against the up-and-down Scratchers.

Both teams meet for the first time since last year’s Foundation Cup Finals that saw Go for Gold beat Che’Lu in the series that went to a full five games.

But the two squads will field different lineups this time, with Go for Gold expected to be led by Justin Gutang, Yankie Haruna and Roosevelt Adams.

Go for Gold, coached by Charles Tiu, seeks to improve its 2-3 record to stay in the hunt for a top four spot.

Che’Lu will bank on Sean Manganti, Rey Suerte, Chris Dumapig, Jesse Collado, Jay-R Taganas and Jeff Viernes, last year’s Foundation Cup Most Valuable Player.

Meanwhile, AMA Online Education faces Batangas-Emilio Aguinaldo College in the opener at 1 p.m.

AMA holds a 1-3 record while Batangas-EAC totes a 1-4 card.
