Adamson University derailed Far Eastern University’s (FEU) semifinal entry with a 25-14, 22-25, 25-23, 16-25, 17-15 victory yesterday in UAAP men’s volleyball at The Arena in San Juan City.

George Labang Jr. provided the offensive spark for the Falcons by firing 22 of his 24 points on attacks while Leo Miranda and Paolo Pablico also stepped up with 15 and 14 points.

Adamson’s win likewise strengthened its Final Four bid by improving to 6-4, tying Ateneo for third while dealing FEU its second loss in 10 games.

The Falcons also avenged their 25-14, 25-23, 25-23 first-round loss to the Tamaraws last March 10.

FEU’s Richard Solis and John Paul Bugaoan combined for 38 points in a losing cause. (Kristel Satumbaga)
