College of St. Benilde sent San Beda University crashing back to earth with a hard-earned 17-25, 25-22, 25-19, 29-27 victory yesterday (Monday) in NCAA women’s volleyball at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Blazers, who missed last year’s Final Four, held their composure at crunch time and banked on Klarisa Abriam, Marites Pablo and Michelle Gamit to post their fourth win in five outings.
Abriam paced St. Benilde with 19 points including 18 kills while Pablo and Gamit chipped in 12 points apiece.
