A woman was arrested Monday for allegedly pimping her 12-year-old neighbor to male clients.
Police said 20-year-old Apple Garcia Enriquez of Barangay 105, Vitas, Tondo, Manila has been pimping the young girl to customers who pay around P400 per sexual encounter.
The victim’s last booking was reportedly on Jan. 29, 2018 at 3 p.m. The girl said she was not able to remember the name of her customer.
The victim’s mother sought the help of Smokey Mountain Police Community Precinct and barangay officials upon discovering the incident.
Enriquez was found by authorities in front of her apartment where she was identified by the victim.
Authorities assisted the minor, accompanied by her mother, in undergoing physical and psychological examinations at the Philippine General Hospital.
Police are readying appropriate charges against Enriquez.
