LGBA stag series slated

Round two of the 2017 Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) stag circuit unfolds on Friday at the Pasay City Cockpit via the 7-stag derby,

LGBA president Nick Crisostomo is expecting more than 60 entries in the event also backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000.

The LGBA series started last July 14 with Dennis Lumpay (Ormoc Joe 22 GF), Jay Cupcupin (GRC), Jay Gonzales (Batang Taal KBJ) and Remigio Llarenas (RCL Mindoro) topping the event with three wins each.

Honey Yu posted 2.5 points followed by two pointers Boy Marzo, Lito Guerra,Nancele Balibalos, Toto Gregore, Cris de Jesus, Ruel and Nomer Reyes, Rep. JB Bernos ( two entries ), Arman Santos, Rey Tolentino and Boyet Plaza.

Qualifiers will advance to the 4-stag finals on July 28.

Competition in the first leg – for old stags – resumes on Aug. 4, 11 and 18.
