JUST A THOUGHT: God did not give us the gift to read the minds of other people so we can have the chance to trust and the privilege to be trusted.
INTERVIEW WITH VAMPIRE RICHARD: It didn’t take much convincing before Richard Gutierrez said yes to a vampire role.
Looking trim and fit and young looking at 33, the once inactive actor says he has always been a fan of vampire movies and one of his dreams is to play one in either a TV or movie project.
The right role came along by way of La Luna Sangre, teleserye that marks Richard’s official entry into ABS-CBN.
The day the former GMA actor graced his first press conference as a Kapamilya, he earlier signed an exclusive contract with the network together with his mother and manager, Annabelle Rama.
Richard said his favorite vampire movie is Interview with The Vampire.
RECHARGED, RESTED, RELAXED: Asked about what he liked the most about his extended hiatus from the business, the actor said he welcomed the opportunity to recharge, reflect on the most important things in life. That’s family, he said.
He believes the timing to come back is right, and the material, perfect. He’s also looking very well, the result of many long hours at the gym and a carefully planned diet.
THIRD IN A SERIES: La Luna Sangre, produced under the banner of Star Creatives, is described as an epic action-romance series headlined by Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
It is the third instalment in the fantasy hit series that started with Lobo, followed by Imortal. Both shows starred Angel Locsin, who plays an important role in La Luna opposite John Lloyd Cruz.
Richard plays Sandrino, king of the vampires, long-lost son of Magnus, played by Jake Roxas.
REUNION FILM WITH ANGEL: One other come-on for Richard is a planned Star Cinema movie that will reunite him with former loveteam partner Angel Locsin.
The adult drama film, called Wife, Husband, Wife, will also star Angelica Panganiban. Angel and Angelica play sisters-in-law who fall for the same man. (NESTOR CUARTERO)
