Metro Turf windfall

Metro Manila Turf Club rewarded lucky bettors recently with huge dividends after winning in its two most popular schemes – Winner-Take-All and Pick-6.

A lucky racing fan went home a solo winner in the May 3 racing at the Metro Turf Racing Complex in Malvar, Batangas with a whopping dividend of P2,339,050. He correctly picked all the seven winners (two of them were longshots) in the very popular WTA that resulted to a big windfall.

The racing afficionado reportedly invested P1,500, which was given to him by his son earlier in the day. The next day, he brought his son with him to collect their winnings at the MMTC head office in Mandaluyong.

There were four other big winners last May 3 night racing as the Pick-6 produced two winning tickets with a total dividend of P305,053 each. Even the Pick-5 has two lucky winners of P210,271.18 each.

Four days earlier, on April 28, 13 lucky racing aficionados collected P1,012,710.60 each after dividing the huge total pot in the WTA that was disputed that night which had a big carry-over amount of P4.66-million.

One of the 13 winners is a jeepney driver who placed a measly P64 bet for all his winning picks. He said he had to ask the ticket seller in the off-track betting station (OTBs) where he placed his beat to give him P2 in order to exact his payment.

Another winner, who was not able to drop by his favorite OTB that day because of heavy workload, placed his WTA bets on his Metro FastBet, the newest craze among the racingfans in which you can place your bets from your cellphones or any gadgets that has a wi-fi and can be loaded in any MetroBank or 7-11 outlets.

The Metro FastBet is a free app which is much secured and is like a betting machine in your hand that you can carry everywhere in the world as long as you have a wi-fi or an internet connection. You can also access the live coverage of the MetroTurf races from all over the world via live streaming at www/
