Pia Wurtzbach may revive acting career

Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach

Former Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has said that she wanted to go back to acting soon as she started to receive offers in show business.

“There are offers to go back to showbiz. For now we’re still planning things but let’s see how it goes. But so far, everything is looking very promising,” said Wurtzbach during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.

Asked to choose between acting and hosting, Wurtzbach said: “Secret. You know I can do both. I would like to explore my acting skills again but it’s been a while.”

Wurtzbach has appeared on several television programs and movies before she became Miss Universe.

On television, she appeared on Kapamilya shows “ASAP,” “K2BU,” “It Might Be You,” “MMK,” “Bora,” Sa Piling Mo,” “Third Eye,” and “Aryana.”

Her film credits were “Kung Ako Na Lang Sana,” “All My Life,” and “All About Love.”

Wurtzbach, 27, who now has four million followers on Instagram, is also busy these being a judge for the reality show “Asia’s Next Top Model” which is being taped in Singapore.

The third Miss Universe from the Philippines will also be based in New York after she signed up for the IMG Models talent agency.

This developed as Wurtzbach was surprised at rumors that her current boyfriend F1 Filipino-Swiss driver Marlon Stockinger has two children.

“Are you sure it’s the same Marlon? I don’t know anything about that. With these things, people would have to be very careful what they say also because if it turns out to be not true, then the credibility of the media could be (affected). We just have to check the facts first,” said Wurtzbach.

Wurtzbach also said that she has no time to discuss marriage to Stockinger these days because of their busy schedules.

“Oh no! We haven’t talked about that. My focus right now is my work. Marami pa akong gustong ma-achieve sa trabaho,” said the Filipino-German beauty when asked about her marriage plans.

But netizens gave mixed reactions to the rumor that Stockinger is already a father.

“Naku sana nga hindi totoo, kuwawa naman si Queen Pia, sa iba pa niya nalaman. Lagot tlaga si Marlon sa akin,” a follower said.

Another fan commented: “Guys..Siguro para fresh pa sa isipan natin yon nangyari kay Coco Martin at kay Albie Casino (issue of child) na halos laitlaitin at isumpa ng ibang tao. Now nasaan sila. Tameme. Note: wag huhusga kung walang alam.”
