Nanawagan ang Korean Embassy sa gobyerno ng Pilipinas na bilisan ang imbestigasyon at resolusyon sa pagpatay sa Korean businessman na si Jee Ick Joo na dinukot sa Angeles City at pinatay noong Oktubre 18, 2016.
“The Embassy calls upon the Philippine Government to conduct a speedy and thorough investigation and to bring those responsible to full justice,” ayon sa opisyal na pahayag ng embassy.
Hinimok din nito ang Duterte administration na magpatupad ng nararapat na hakbang para hindi na maulit ang naturang insidente.
“The Embassy will make every effort in its closer cooperation with the Philippine government so that the death of Mr. Jee will serve as an opportunity for Korean nationals in the Philippines to lead peaceful and secure lives without any apprehensions regarding their safety,” it said.
