Sibugay residents get stress debriefings

Manila, Philippines – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has deployed 14 teams of social workers to Zamboanga Sibugay to perform stress debriefing among families affected by military operations in the province.

Ten teams were deployed in Alicia town, while four teams were assigned in Payao town, both located in Zamboanga Sibugay province, to conduct Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) sessions. The DSWD explained that CISD aims to provide an opportunity for ventilation in a structured and supportive environment. (Ellalyn B. de Vera)
