Philippines – Three persons were arrested while 50 grams of were seized during a buy-bust operation in Zamboanga City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said yesterday.

TERNATE, Indonesia (AP) – A volcano has erupted in eastern Indonesia, spewing clouds of thick, gray ash. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
