Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas 16th Anniversary

Established on July 3, 1993, pursuant to the provisions of the 1987 Philippine Constitution and the New Central Bank Act of 1993, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) took over from the Central Bank of the Philippines the responsibility of being the country’s chief monetary authority. As an organization, the BSP enjoys fiscal and administrative autonomy from the National Government in the pursuit of its mandated responsibilities.

Visayas and Mindanao including Palawan will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and coming from the south and southeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate except during thunderstorms.
