Esguerra pulls off kayak upset win

By CLYDE MARIANO  A 14 year-old daughter of a fisherman from Masbate won the kayak women 500 meters dragon boat event of Philippine National Games yesterday. Exploiting the benign condition at Manila Bay, Rosalyn Esguerra clocked three minutes and 25.93 seconds to upset favored Janette Escallona who timed 3:42.11.
