Manila, Philippines – American socialite Paris Hilton returned to the country yesterday for the inauguration of the Paris Beach Club at the Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque City.
The hotel heiress arrived at 10 a.m. via Cathay Pacific Flight CX 902.
This time, there was no cellular phone drama, no fuss, nor fanfare. And her personal belongings remained intact.
Hilton greeted those who welcomed her upon her arrival. “Hi,” she said to the waiting crowd and employees at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.
Paris wore a leather jacket, blue printed dress, and shades with a black bag on her arm as she walked through the arrival concourse.
She had cellphones on her hands and did not look upset unlike her visit in Manila in August 2011 when she found out that her two iPad tablets were missing upon arrival at NAIA.
The celebrity made her way to the Duty Free stall, Immigration, and Customs counter while she was surrounded by the airport police.
Hilton momentarily posed and smiled to photographers in the holding area but she did not grant interviews to the media.
Other passengers and onlookers, however, were not discouraged and still took a photograph of Hilton.
Hilton is the designer of the beach club of Century Properties Group Inc. The Azure Urban Resort Residences features luxurious facilities, such as a spa and massage center, social lounge, and movie room, among other amenities.
In a statement, Century Properties said that the Paris Beach Club design adds to the growing list of Hilton’s credentials.
Aside from the Azure inauguration, she is in the country to hold shoots with the property developer and attend an invitational party for the unit owners. (Raymund F. Antonio)
