3 hurt in Manila fire


Three persons were injured in a fire that hit a commercial-residential building in Manila on Saturday night.

The victims —Eugenio Pua, 51;his wife Libring, and their daughter Christina —were rushed to hospital after they inhaled smoke, according to FO2 Mark Rasonable of the Manila Fire District.

Arson investigators reported that the fire started at 4:36 p.m. at the said building on San Marcelino Street, and reached the 4th alarm before it was put out by firefighters at about 5:21 p.m..

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire. (Rizal S. Obanil)
