First case of stray bullet

Manila, Philippines – The Department of Health (DoH) recorded the first case of stray bullet injury this holiday season prompting officials to renew their call against indiscriminate firing and the use of firecrackers and fireworks this holiday season.

The injured 23-year old male from Ormoc City, Leyte, suffered open fracture at the left thigh when he was hit by a bullet inside his home on December 23 at 1:30 AM.
