Manila, Philippines – Like in the past, President Aquino will spend Christmas with his family, Malacañang said yesterday.
Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said it has been a tradition for the President, a bachelor at 53, to have a get-together with his family during Christmas.
“That’s always spent with family,” Valte said.
Aquino said that he is planning to visit Tacloban City again today. “We’ll give the final details once
they are confirmed,” Valte said.
The Palace official said Aquino will distribute goods for typhoon victims. “He makes it a point that he always bring something for the people that he goes to,” Valte said.
Valte said that she has not heard of any plans for the President to visit former President now Pampanga Rep. Gloria M. Arroyo at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City this Christmas. (JC Bello Ruiz)
