MNR stretch free of potholes

The Manila North Road (MNR) from San Fernando City to Sudipen in La Union is free of potholes, District Engineer Ray A. Elaydo of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) La Union 1st District Engineering Office said.

Elaydo added that the alternate route from San Fernando City to San Juan has also been cleared of potholes by the district maintenance crew headed by Engineer Jose Ginete Jr.

Elaydo said that maintenance of national and secondary roads in his jurisdiction is one of his priorities.

He called on motorists and commuters to report any inconvenience on the road to his office for prompt action, saying it will ensure comfortable travel to Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Abra, and Cagayan.
