Five lawyers and three doctors are among 26 players who have enlisted for the second leg of the Executive Chess Circuit set tomorrow at the Dugout Sports Bar and Grill at One Jorama Place, Congressional Avenue, corner San Beda Street, Barangay Toro in Quezon City.
Also in the field is businessman Ricardo Martin who won the inaugural leg last month.
Joining the one-day event are lawyers Rudy Artuz, Florendo Batasin Jr., Philip King, Quirino Sagario and Jose Aspiras. Two doctors from La Union Dr. Cipriano Oviedo and Jerome Gaerlan are also entered as well as Dr. Alfredo Paez of Laguna.
The event also drew the participation of commercial pilot Col. Amado Labarda, Social Security System official Rene Domaycos, Emir Gamis, Lito Dormitorio, Cef Gonzales, architect Franz Barreto, police captain Jerry Tolentino, engineers Restituto Tabucanon and businessmen Emil Colindres, Noel Garcia and Erven Perlas.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The field is limited to only 40 players.
