Woman caught with P100,000 shabu

Police arrested a female drug pusher during a buy-bust operation that also resulted in the confi scation of P100,000 worth of shabu in Quezon City.

Senior Inspector Roberto Razon, chief of the Quezon City Police District’s Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group (QCPD DAID-SOTG) said this was the third time that they arrested the suspect, Cynthia Penalosa, 36, of Ilagan St., Barangay Paltok, San Francisco Delmonte, Quezon City, for selling illegal drugs.

Razon said DAID-SOTG operatives conducted the entrapment operation against Penalosa at around 5:30 p.m. last Friday in Penalosa’s neighborhood on Ilagan St. corner Cabotaje St., Barangay Paltok.

Operatives seized from the suspect four pieces of plastic sachets containing a total of 25 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu worth P100,000.

Razon said that they conducted the arrest of Penalosa following a month-long surveillance. (Jeffrey G. Damicog)
