Potholes patched

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Pangasinan 4th District Engineering Office has initiated what it called responsive repairs of potholes in its jurisdiction.

It was in compliance to an order from the DPWH to maintain pothole-free national roads.

District Engineer Marietta B. Mendoza said that her office has submitted a report to the DPWH Region 1 (Ilocos) stating that all national roadlines in her turf had been cleared of potholes two weeks ago.

Mendoza, together with Assistant District Engineer Edith Manuel, monitored and inspected national roads in their district and assured they are free of potholes.

Manuel said the district maintenance section repaired the potholes, adding that she and Mendoza have ordered roadside maintenance in Santa Barbara, Calasiao, Malasiqui, Bayambang, Mapandan, and San Carlos City as top priority.
