NEW YORK – A one-year-old boy has died after being shot in the head in New York City.
Police said Antiq Hennis was being pushed in a stroller by his mother and father while crossing a street in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood at about 7:20 p.m. local time Sunday when the shooting occurred. They say multiple shots were fired.
Authorities said the child was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital with a bullet wound to the left side of his face but did not survive his injuries. He was declared dead at the hospital. (AP)
