In the late ’60s, her husband Mat Ranillo II died in a plane crash. After a period of mourning, Glo remarried – to Amado Cortez, actor-politician-diplomat.
It was happy marriage, long and lasting. They lived for many years in San Francisco, California, where Amado as consul-general with the rank of ambassador.
After his stint with the Department of Foreign Affair, Amado went back to acting. He died some years back.
