The hard task of putting together President Benigno S. Aquino III’s next State-of-the-Nation Address (SoNA) has commenced.
The President has directed concerned Cabinet members to submit their accomplishment reports that will form part of his annual address to the nation in July, according to Palace officials.
It will be Aquino’s fourth SoNA before the two houses of Congress since he assumed office in 2010.
The SonA is the President’s annual speech in which he has the opportunity to talk to the nation and tell everybody about his accomplishments for the past year, his plans for the year ahead, and his proposed legislations to Congress.
“Yes, we are working with PMS (Presidential Management Staff) and have begun to discuss with the President,“ Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Secretary Ramon Carandang said. (Genalyn D. Kabiling)
