MMDA launches ‘Traffic Mirror’

Live traffic information at your finger tips. This is what the “MMDA Traffic Mirror,” a website that features real-time video feed of latest traffic situation on the road vowed to provide motorists.

MMDA Traffic MirrorLaunched on Monday by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the website provides real-time video feed from nine closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras installed along sections of EDSA such as Megamall, White Planes, Taft, Ayala, Orense, P. Tuazon, and Nepa Q-Mart C-5 Green Meadows, and Marcos Highway.

The MMDA Traffic Mirror can be accessed at http://MMDA.NowPlanet.TV for free 24/7, and can be viewed from any PC, smartphone, or tablet device. MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said the MMDA Traffic Mirror can also be used in monitoring flooding during the rainy season, Tolentino added. (Anna Liza Villas-Alavaren)
