‘Salvage’ victims found in Manila

Manila, Philippines – Two suspected “salvage“ or summary execution victims were found at the corner of Dimasalang and Craig Streets at 3 a.m. yesterday.

The still unidentified victims were blindfolded with packaging tape and their hands were bound. One of the victims was wearing blue shorts and an orange shirt while the other had gray shorts, black shirt, and many tattoos. Police are still determining the identities of the suspects.

Meanwhile, an unidentified man was killed by three gunmen at 1 a.m. yesterday at the corner of 4th and 2nd Avenues in Grace Park, Caloocan City. The victim was merely standing at the intersection when the three gunmen arrived and shot him. (Rizal S. Obanil)
