Manila, Philippines – This is no April Fool’s joke: A bettor in Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, won P20-million lotto jackpot on April 1.
It was a lucky day for the lottery aficionado, as the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) resumed selling tickets and lotto draws on Monday after a four-day hiatus during the Holy Week.
A staff at the office of PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand M. Rojas II said the winner placed a bet on Mega Lotto 6/45 in Tunasan, and matched the winning numbers, such as 27-42-34-3728-43.
He said the lone winner hit the P20,254,431.60 jackpot at stake.
Meanwhile, the source said Grand Lotto 6/55 is projected to offer P73 million prize for the Wednesday draw .
No bettor hit the P66,961,126.80 million at stake in 6/55’s Monday draw, which came up with 36-54-35-44-01-18 winning combination. (Edd K. Usman)
