Manila, Philippines – SELF-PITY – Pity this bold actor who used to be big during the “pito-pito” years. “Pito-pito” refers to cheap and quick sex films, where the actor ruled supreme, in a manner of speaking.
Then he had lots of projects and money and friends, on the cover of movie mags, usually clad in briefs and even less than that.
Now he is jobless and has-beed (Laosion Deep, in showbiz lingo). And wallowing in self-pity. One time, an old friend gave him a call, jolted that the bold actor was profuse with thanks, “Salamat at naalala mo pa ako kahit down na down ako,” he said in between sobs.
The friend advised him to get out of his shell, renew acquaintances with friends in and out of showbiz.
The problem with this bold actor is “identity crisis,” trying to hide his sexual preference. BB Gandanghari should give him a one-on-one.
