Manila, Philippines –An FHM model fears for her life and has not returned home following the death of her fellow model friend who was abducted and then dumped and killed in Quezon City.
Chief Insp. Rodelio Marcelo, chief of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU), lamented that FHM model Althea Altamirano, 22, has not returned home in Cavite since Monday night.
Marcelo said that Altamirano was with fellow model Julie Ann Rodelas, 20, a talent at ABS-CBN, when she was allegedly abducted before dawn Tuesday in Pasay City then shot dead and pushed out of a blue Mitsubishi Montero in Quezon City.
“She (Altamirano) can better shed light in the death of the victim,“ said Marcelo who learned that Altamirano left home Monday night and has not returned since.
Following the death of Rodelas, Altamirano’s younger brother, Archie, admitted to police that he met his sister in Las Pinas City at around 1 a.m. last Wednesday.
Archie said that his sister handed to him money for the family but told him that she will not be coming home for a while. “Altamirano told her brother that she does not want any part of this,“ Marcelo learned.
Up to now, the police officer noted that Altamirano’s mobile phone cannot be contacted and is believed to have been turned off.
At around 5 a.m. Tuesday, a blue Mitsubishi Montero parked in front of a house at No. 121A 18th Avenue, Murphy, Cubao, Quezon City.
Shots were heard fired inside the vehicle then, after which, the right rear door was opened and Rodelas was pushed out of the vehicle. She was found to have been shot in the right temple, right leg, and upper left arm.

Police were only able to identify the victim on Wednesday afternoon when the Rodelas family arrived at the CIDU in the hopes of finding her. The family who said that the victim left home in Las Pinas Monday afternoon to watch a movie at the Mall of Asia.
The family has been searching for Rodelas since on Tuesday they learned from her friends that the victim got abducted. The friends were informed about the abduction through Altamirano who did tell the Rodelas family about it.
