Annie Ayroso, Alano’s manager, said the celebrity is now in stable condition.
“She can now smile, but could not yet talk,“ said Ayroso who took exceptions to reports that Alano was drunk at the time of the accident.
Ayroso said Alano, along with her six companions, went out to buy medicines.
SPO2 Ignacio Lim placed the time of the accident at 2:20 a.m.
Alano drove her vehicle a Ford Everest wagon with plate number VFH 668, into the concrete barrier, turned turtle and hit another vehicle that almost fell off the Marcos Highway Bridge.
Her companions only suffered bruises and contusions while part of the steel bar punctured the stomach of the TV host, according to Chief Inspector Ronald Girao.
Alano was rushed to the Marikina Valley Medical Hospital where doctors successfully removed the steel bar.
Police suspected that the victims were under the influence of liquor after they recovered a bottle of liquor inside the actress vehicle.
