Manila, Philippines – SITTI Navarro has denied speculations that she is a closet lesbian.
“Hindi ah. Definitely not,“ Navarro said in a recent interview as quoted on abscbnnews.com.
Asked why she isn’t in a relationship, Navarro says men are too timid to woo her.
“Siguro there’s a problem with guys these days, to stand up and really pursue someone,“ she twits. “I’m just waiting.“
Navarro added that she is not idealistic when it comes to choosing a partner.
“I’m just a regular girl,“ she said. “Hindi ako pihikan.“
Still, if ever, Navarro hopes to find a man who is “understanding“ and with lots of “sense of humor.“
Rumors about the singer allegedly preferring women over men emerged after she was paired with self-confessed lesbian singer-actress Aiza Seguerra in 2007′s “Ysabella.“
Although both were quick to slam speculations, the rumors continued with the two going on to form part of “ASAP’s“ Sessionistas. (Bulletin Entertainment Online)
