Manila, Philippines – Seventy-six-year-old Valentina Arceo was killed yesterday morning after being hit by a Philippine National Railways train while she was walking near the tracks along the tracks between its stations in España and Sta. Mesa, in Manila.
An Initial investigation also showed the crew of the PNR train did not immediately see the victim, and that when they applied the emergency brake, it was too late for the train to stop.
