Fetus found in a box

TAGKAWAYAN, Quezon ­- A six-month-old fetus stuffed in a box was found in an open canal at the shoulder of Quirino Highway in Barangay Bagong Silang, here, Saturday noon.

PO1 Mylene de Torres, officer on case, said that around 3 p.m., they received a phone call from a concerned citizen, informing them that a brown box containing a male fetus was found. The fetus was brought to St. Peter funeral parlor in Barangay Munting Parang, this town, for proper disposition. (Danny Estacio)
