San Beda and San Sebastian finished the first-round elims tied with Jose Rizal University at 7-2 and a win would fortify their respective bids for the next round. EAC and Lyceum, for their part, dwell on the cellar with identical 2-7 records.
The Red Lions are fresh from a 65-43 win over the Letran Knights Thursday night, while the Stags are still riding the crest from an 80-71 victory over the Red Lions five days back.
San Beda and San Sebastian likewise aim for a repeat of their contrasting first-round wins against their respective foes.
