DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – Pag-Ibig Fund Information Office here announced yesterday that they had started offering calamity loan for members who are in need of financial assistance due to flood that damaged their livelihood and residences.
The Home Development Mutual Fund–Dagupan branch started accepting calamity loan applications since yesterday, Pag-Ibig Fund Information Officer Huge Olarte said.
Olarte said the Fund aims to help members in Pangasinan ease their financial distress because of damaged livelihoods.
An active member can loan as much as 80 percent of his total savings.
Pangasinan was earlier declared under state of calamity through Resolution no. 349-2012 due to massive flooding in its central, eastern and even western towns. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
