Knee-to-neck deep floods in Camanava area

MANILA, Philippines (PNA)– The week-long rains coupled with high tide has flooded most parts of the Camanava area.

Camanava, which formed the cities and town of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, experiences flood frequently whenever the tide rises and suffers worst when rains occur simultaneously.

According to PNA reporter Priam F. Nepomuceno, who lives in Malabon,at least 21 barangays,particularly Dampalit and Catmon, were already under knee-to neck-deep floods.

In Navotas, at least 18 barangays are now flooded while Sangandaan in Caloocan is already submerged. Malabon is of without power.

Major roads in the areas are closed to traffic.
