Manila, Philippines – GMA Network, Inc. (GMA) adds another landmark in the annals of Philippine television with the launch of the new version of the Kapuso station ID today (Aug. 6) over primetime newscast “24 Oras.“
The multi-million peso station ID upholds the spirit of GMA network’s Kapuso equity of being one in heart with the Filipino audience. The video features over 200 personalities from the station’s News and Public Affairs and Entertainment divisions showing photos of people representing the various sectors of our society effectively expressing that ultimately, it is the viewer who is truly in the heart of every Kapuso artist.
The station ID pays tribute and expresses gratitude to the viewers here and abroad who brought GMA to the No. 1 position in the industry of broadcast.
GMA Chairman and CEO lawyer Felipe L. Gozon says that the network creates content and makes programming decisions, keeping in mind the Kapuso viewers at all times. “We always keep in mind the gains of our viewers. We hope that through this station ID, we are able to demonstrate one of our core values, which reads `we believe that the viewer is boss’,“ Gozon says.

Kapuso real-life sweethearts Ogie and Regine Alcasid welcome viewers into their own home, where they are not the country’s musical royal couple but regular parents of their baby, Nate.
The powerhouse line-up includes Michael V., Sen. Ramon “Bong“ Revilla Jr., entertainment industry iconic trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon; Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Gina Alajar, Roderick Paulate, Dennis Trillo, Geoff Eigenmann, Aljur Abrenica, Rocco Nacino, Carla Abellana, Rhian Ramos, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Jennylyn Mercado, Bianca King, Isabel Oli, Bela Padilla, Sam Pinto, Ellen Adarna, Ehra Madrigal, Michelle Madrigal, Jennica Garcia, Ricky Lo, Lolit Solis, Butch Francisco, Tim Yap, Barbie Forteza, Bea Binene, Jillian Ward, Mona Louise Rey, and more.
