A Facebook photo of his former boyfriend with a woman inside what appeared to be a motel room drove a saleslady to hang herself inside her Quezon City residence yesterday.
Investigator PO3 Joselito Gagaza identified the suicide as Angela Perando, 20, a saleslady working in Landmark.
Gagaza said that Angela was already dead when she was found by her mother Vilma at around 5 a.m. inside her room at their home in Roque 2 Himlayan Road, Barangay Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
The investigator said that Angela used a bed sheet that she looped around her neck and tied to wooden post of her room.
Vilma told police that she last saw her daughter alive at around 12:30 a.m. yesterday.
Angela told her mother that she broke up with her boyfriend after seeing him posing with the woman covered only with towel in Facebook.
Vilma said she thought was alright when she left her.
Angela had been posting angry messages at her former boyfriend’s Facebook page, according to Vilma.
In a one-page suicide note found in her bag, Angela detailed her problems with her former beau.
Angela wrote that her BF had been asking her to have sex, but she declined because of fatigue.
Her boyfriend threatened to find another woman which Angela apparently ignored.
Eventually, Angela got hold of the compromising Facebook photos that prompted her to break up with her boyfriend.
One of the pictures showed her former boyfriend dangling an arm over the shoulder of a woman.
