Manila, Philippines – Ateneo-A and Notre Dame of Greater Manila romped off to their third straight wins in the Small Basketeers Philippines (SBP) while Chiang Kai Shek College achieved the same feat in the Passerelle as competitions in the twin tournaments organized by the Best Center and sponsored by Milo reached a notch higher recently.
Ateneo-A howed no mercy in routing Marist-B (0-3), 72-13, to stay on top of SBP’s Group B, which also saw San Beda CollegeAlabang (1-1) trip Colegio San Agustin-Makati (1-2).
Notre Dame was also unforgiving in blasting Chiang Kai Shek (0-3), 55-36, for its third straight triumph on top of Group C, which also had Lourdes School-QC (21) beating Ateneo-B (1-2), 38-36; and San Beda Rizal (1-1) scuttling the same Ateneo-B, 56-40.
Group A saw La Salle-Greenhills cop its second straight win over La Salle Zobel-B (0-2), 6718, while Lourdes-Mandaluyong (2-1) smothered San Beda-Rizal (0-3), 73-19.
Group D had School of St. Anthony (1-1) over St. Mary’s College (0-2), 30-20.
Chiang Kai Shek claimed its third straight win in Group C of the Passerelle at the expense of Grace Christian High School (12), 81-27.
