MANILA, Philippines (PNA) – At least 39 roads in Metro Manila remained impassable due to floods brought about by heavy rains triggered by southwest monsoon, the Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
As of 12:30 p.m. Tuesday the roads that were declared impassable to traffic included Quezon Avenue-Barangay Tatalon, Quezon Avenue-Delta, Quezon Avenue-Araneta , Quezon Avenue- Scout Chuatuco, C5-Libis bypass road, Quezon Avenue-Centris EDSA northbound , Quezon Avenue-Maria Clara, Quezon Avenue-Roosevelt-Congressional Road-San Mateo-Bataan, NLEX-Balintawak (north and south bound, Tullahan-Macarthur; E. Rodriguez; E. Munoz-Pami , Commonwealth-Capitol-Zuzuaregi; Biak na Bato , GSIS Village, Quezon Avenue-Sto. Domingo, Masaya Street-Commonwealth-Philcoa, C5 north bound-Ateneo, Victory Street. G. Araneta , and C4-Lascano , all in Quezon City;
Rizal Avenue-R.Papa , Verm before Caltex ; Old Sta. Mesa/V. Mapa , Quezon Boulevard-Carlos Palanca and Mendiola, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, Reina Regente-Abad Santos and Recto, San Marcelino -Taft Avenue and Burgos-Finance Road-Manila City Hall; all in Manila.
Roxas Boulevard in front of San Juan De Dios Hospital in Pasay City;
