CAMP GENERAL PANTALEON GARCIA, IMUS, Cavite – Kawit town police arrested one of the most wanted men in their list during an operation last Wednesday in the area, the Police Provincial Office (PPO) said yesterday.
In a report to Senior Supt. John C. Bulalacao, Cavite PPO director, Chief Inspector Mamerto O. Malubay, Kawit chief of police, identified the suspect as one Arnel S. Diaz, 49, of Barangay Panamitan, Kawit.
Malubay said that Diaz is the 8th of the 10 most wanted men in their
turf. He has a pending rape case in a court, it was gathered.
Diaz was nabbed by a police team composed of Senior Police Officer I Bayani B. Basto, Police Officer III Demetrio Bello, POII’s Ronnie Amparo and Christopher Servento, and POI Jayson Rapiz in Barangay Panamitan at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The arrest was made after the police team secured an arrest warrant from Imus Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 22 Judge Cesar A. Mangrobang. (Anthony Giron)
