Manila, Philippines – ANNABELLE Rama is confident that her piling court battles won’t affect a possible bid for a congressional seat next year.
Despite her legal tiffs with different personalities, Rama said she is confident the people of the North District of Cebu “love“ her nonetheless.
“Hindi ['to makakaapekto],“ Rama said, when asked if she thinks her on-going feud with former actresses Nadia Montenegro and Amalia Fuentes will affect her plans to run for Congress.
“Masyado niyang dinurog ang pangalan ko, masyado niyang sinira ang pangalan ko … [Pero] mga taga-North District, Cebu City, mahal na mahal nila ako. Hindi makakasira sa’kin ’to,” Rama said.
Rama said her aggressive stance in her personal battles will help boost her chances to win a sit in Congress.
“Kung tatakbo man ako, makakatulong din sa ’kin ’to.” (ABS-CBN News Online)
