Manila, Philippines – Cobra Energy Drink-Urge Ride Rules! Tour, the county’s national event for BMX and MTB Stunts, will hold its second leg on Saturday, July 7 at SM Southmall in Las Piñas City. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 12 noon with actual competition set to start at 1 p.m.
Dan Lopez of Team Scrapbikes and Delton Espiritu of Team Pelota, who both hail from Las Piñas City, lead the cast of participants.
Also expected to take part are riders from Laguna, Cavite, Paranaque, Muntinlupa, Makati, Quezon and as far as Bicol.
A total of 300 riders took part in the first leg last June 23.
Fil-Am Cedric Pascual dominated the BMX Box Jump Contest while national BMX Super X Stunt champion Nono Santos took second spot. Third place went to James Lang of Pasig City.
In the BMX Street contest, Nono Santos edged surprise package Chong Zabal of Marikina City in the Game of Bike Contest. Anthonie Bitancor of Bacoor, Cavite settled for third place.
MTB Box jump contest winners were Edgar Serabia, champion; Taj Trinidad, runner-up; and Herminio Castillo Jr., third placer.
