Manila, Philippines – TRUE FRIEND – Learned that of the many visitors of Dolphy at the Makati Medica Center, only MVP (Manny Velez Pangilinan) was allowed inside the ICU. The rest had to content themselves gazing at the Comedy King through a glass window.
Why that privilege?
Well, the tycoon who owns TV5 is a true and loyal friend, not only in word but, more important, in deed.
Look, MVP signed up Dolphy more than two years ago – when he needed it most. And even if the actor could no longer face the camera, TV5 continued with his show, “Pidol in Wonderland.”
What a generous heart MVP has. No wonder then that he’s abundantly blessed.
Also, MVP asked the Makati Med doctors and staff to provide Dolphy with the best care possible. He owns the hospital.

WILLIE, TOO – Another true and loyal friend is Willie Revillame.
The TV host recalls that when he was down and out, Dolphy boosted his morale and helped him financially.
Very typical of the Comedy King, helping friends (even those he hardly knows) who are in need, doing it quietly.
No wonder then that Willie is distraught these days – even if he doesn’t show it in his show on TV5, “Wil Time, Bigtime.”
Sharing his blessings is one lesson Willie learned from Dolphy.

GREAT LOVE – Admirable Zsa Zsa Padilla is.
She stands by Dolphy’s side through good and bad times.
“The love of my life,” Zsa Zsa calls him.
Dolphy has said time and again that Zsa Zsa is his great love, the last woman in his life. He used to joke that after all, her name is the last letter in the alphabet.
They have two daughters, Nicole and Zia.

GOOD SON – Eric Quizon is the perfect family spokesman. He’s intelligent and articulate. Very pleasant and amiable.
Dolphy’s lucky to have a good son like Eric. He’s truly accomplished, award-winning actor, director-producer.
