Manila, Philippines – BULACAN Vice Governor Daniel Fernando couldn’t hide his distress over Phillip Salvador’s intent to run for the position he currently holds and would want to retain in the next elections.
Although he’s ready to go head-to-head with the award-winning actor, Fernando lamented that he will do so with a heavy heart.
Kaya sinasabi ko na masakit,” he said in an interview with Interaksyon.
If he were in Salvador’s shoes, he would not run against a fellow actor, Fernando said.
In a previous interview, Salvador said that he has nothing personal against Fernando, commending the latter for being a good man. He likewise deemed that Fernando would understand his political aspirations. (Bulletin Entertainment Online)
