Checkmate classes

The year-round weekend chess classes of Milo-sponsored Checkmate clinic resume tomorrow at Eton Cyberpod Corinthian in Ortigas Ave. cor EDSA.

Open to kids who are 7-16 years old, the clinic consists of seven consecutive weekend sessions and are held during Saturdays or Sundays from 10a.m.-1p.m. and 2-5 p.m. Courses offered are for beginners, intermediate and advance students.

Now on its 22nd year, the Milo sponsored Checkmate program has been designed to develop the chess talents of children into masters’ strength level through formal and systematic method of teachings.
