MANILA, Philippines – To send a hundred disadvantaged children to school, the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Foundation recently organized the “Run for a Scholar” charity run at the Bonifacio Global City among its member companies with Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), marketer of Caltex fuels and lubricants, as sponsor.
Under the Caltex Energy for Learning initiative, Caltex supports programs that provide education and skills to disadvantaged people so that they can have better opportunities in life.
About 1,000 employees and their relatives from AmCham member companies participated in the event which also aims to raise health awareness, physical fitness and promote an active lifestyle.
