Plea denied

Manila, Philippines – A Quezon City court denied yesterday the petition to suspend arraignment sought by the counsel of the slain Noel Orate Sr., ex-boyfriend of former Rep. Nanette Castelo-Daza, as her accused son-in-law Allan Romeo Robes pleaded not guilty to the crime.

Atty. Eduardo Bringas, counsel of Orate Sr., said that his camp will file a motion for reconsideration (MR) and in the event it is denied he will elevate the case to the Supreme Court.(Chito A. Chavez)
