Manila, Philippines – Two men were shot and injured on Monday by a man who mistook them for thieves in Pasay City, a belated police report said yesterday.
Police identified the victims as Noel Palomar, 23, and Federico Manuel, 33, both residing at P. Manahan Street, Pasay City. Palomar was parking his motorcycle in front of his house at 117 P. Manahan St. when a bullet suddenly hit his left buttocks while Manuel, who was standing near him got a bullet wound in his back.
Both are now being treated at a hospital. Their gunman was Felix Tiomico. Police said he could have confused his victims for thieves who ran off with his wife’s phone. (Mitch Arceo)
